New Orleans Restaurant & Cajun Café is Oslo's only cajun-creole restaurant. Its high ceilings, crystal chandeliers and classic furniture reflect the elegance of colonial times.

Cajun has its roots in the South of France. During the 17th century, many French people emigrated to Nova Scotia in Canada, then called Arcadia. They later found a new home in the swamps and along the rivers of Louisiana, and the Cajun food culture flourished there.
